For more than 40 years, we’ve been a dedicated, non-hospital, end-of-life care service for patients and their loved ones - around the clock, every day of the year. Our mission is to ensure that anyone can access the best possible expert care whenever and wherever they need it – whether at the hospice or in their own home. As a charity, we only exist because of the generosity and support of our amazing local community.

Prospect Hospice is the leading provider of education and training for end-of-life care in Swindon and north Wiltshire. What you’ll be doing
You will be working with the events team during the week leading up to one of our flagship events, Starlight Walk which will take place on Saturday 22 June 2024.
There will be a variety of work that takes place during this crucial week covering both administrative tasks and hands on event organising; it could also involve physical activity. Tasks include helping with setting up, signage, list checking, dealing with merchandise, medals and t-shirts to name but a few.
The placement would be suitable for any students looking to experience the breadth of work that takes place in the run up to a busy fundraising event.
