Will you shine a light of kindness this Christmas?
Yes, I’ll help a family like Pippa’s
“When my husband Tom passed away last December, the team from Prospect Hospice were like a light in the darkness.
They helped us care for Tom at home and organised a specialist chair so he wouldn’t have to get a hospital bed. With their help, we could spend some golden time together. It was such a huge thing for our family.
Christmas is a time to be with your family, so it’s particularly tough when you lose someone close. That’s why I hope you will consider donating today, to support another family like ours at a really difficult time.”
– Pippa
£27 could pay for a session with a Social Worker like Hannah, to help another family through their toughest moments.
£75 could provide an extended home visit from a clinical nurse specialist, so that a patient like Tom can spend golden time with their family.
£201 could support a patient so they can stay in their own home through the night, giving their family some much-needed rest.
We understand that Christmas can be an incredibly difficult time for those who are grieving and we want you to know that you are not on your own. We encourage you to talk to your friends and family about how you are feeling, however, should you feel you need support from others at this time, there are many local organisations available to you to offer the support you need. Please find details of these below.
