Well done to over 400 of you who took part in our 15th Starlight Walk bringing colour and fun to Swindon on Saturday 24 June 2023.
It was wonderful to see so many of you embracing this year’s festival fever theme with some of your furry friends stealing the show as you brightened the streets of Swindon, raising money to support vital care for those in the local area living with a terminal illness.
Thank you to everyone involved in helping to make it a night to remember including:
As always, an enormous thank you to our staff and volunteers who give their time, help and expertise to make sure Starlight Walk went smoothly and safely, our marshals and lead marshal Colin Roberts, our registration team who get stuck in with lots of jobs, our catering team, merchandise team and information desk team.
Finally, thank you to our community who came out to cheer on and to all our walkers for gritting your teeth and powering on in your fabulous outfits. Your support and fundraising ensure Prospect Hospice can continue to deliver free expert clinical and emotional support to our patients and their families. We simply couldn’t do it without you.
