The festive season is when many choose to spend time with family and friends and enjoy those special moments together. We understand that this Christmas is going to be particularly tough for local people but, if you do feel you’re able to support the hospice this year and help us to deliver care to those who are terminally ill in our community, there are a number of ways you can do that.
All the money you donate through buying Christmas cards (now available in our shops only), raffle tickets or via cash donations will stay in the area and help us care for local people.
Thank you for your generosity at this time of year and we wish you a peaceful Christmas from everyone at Prospect Hospice.
When Philomena’s Dad was in the hospice for Christmas, she was dreading it. The family normally enjoyed a big meal together and she knew he wouldn’t be able to be there. Our chef stepped in and invited the whole family to the hospice and cooked up a special dinner for them all – ensuring they all had special memories of their last Christmas together as a family.
