For more than 40 years, we’ve been a dedicated, non-hospital, end-of-life care service for patients and their loved ones - around the clock, every day of the year. Our mission is to ensure that anyone can access the best possible expert care whenever and wherever they need it – whether at the hospice or in their own home. As a charity, we only exist because of the generosity and support of our amazing local community.

We couldn’t do what we do without considerable support from our local community. Prospect Hospice is the leading provider of education and training for end-of-life care in Swindon and north Wiltshire. Working closely with you, our colleagues within partner organisations, we want to ensure that the very best care is available to everyone facing the end of life. This is why we provide education and development opportunities, all of which aim to encourage learning and build confidence in end of life care and support.

By enjoying your meal there, you will not only create lasting memories, but your lunch purchase will also contribute to providing care and support for someone within your community at the end of their life. The Father’s Day lunch at Prospect Hospice on Sunday 18 June offers a unique opportunity for local families to come together and celebrate those who have shaped our lives. Everyone is welcome, whether you plan to celebrate with your father and the entire family or choose to cherish the fond memories of a loved one who has passed away.
“We understand that special occasions can be challenging for many and our aim is to make this day as special as possible for those dealing with difficult circumstances.” said Carl Golding, catering manager.
Customers will enjoy a delightful two-course menu, carefully prepared by the hospice’s catering team. The menu features a variety of main dishes and desserts, ensuring a memorable dining experience for everyone.
“We understand that many people in our community have shared experiences with the hospice,” added Carl, “and we believe this is a lovely opportunity to celebrate with your father or honour his memory.”
The Father’s Day lunch costs £19 per person, and all profits from the sale of food will directly support the hospice in providing compassionate care for those living with terminal illnesses in Swindon and north east Wiltshire. Free parking is available on site and you can see the full menu here.
