For more than 40 years, we’ve been a dedicated, non-hospital, end-of-life care service for patients and their loved ones - around the clock, every day of the year. Our mission is to ensure that anyone can access the best possible expert care whenever and wherever they need it – whether at the hospice or in their own home. As a charity, we only exist because of the generosity and support of our amazing local community.

Prospect Hospice is the leading provider of education and training for end-of-life care in Swindon and north Wiltshire. Working closely with you, our colleagues within partner organisations, we want to ensure that the very best care is available to everyone facing the end of life. This is why we provide education and development opportunities, all of which aim to encourage learning and build confidence in end of life care and support.
The countdown is on and excitement is building as a local charity announces the grand opening of its new shop in Tadpole Garden Village.
Located at Unit 2, Maizey Road, SN25 2WF the latest Prospect Hospice charity shop will open its doors on Tuesday 14 November at 10am and is all set to become a go-to destination for treasure hunting and giving back to the community. Whether you’re a thrifty shopper or a vintage connoisseur, this shop will have something for everyone.
Victoria Canavan, head of retail at Prospect Hospice said: “We are absolutely thrilled to be opening our doors in Tadpole. Our charity shop is more than just a place to find great deals; it’s a hub of community spirit. Every purchase made here directly contributes to the incredible care and support that Prospect Hospice provides to patients and their families in the local area.”
Prospect Hospice has been a vital part of the community for years, providing outstanding care to those in need for over 40 years. Now, with the opening of the Tadpole charity shop, it is expanding its reach and giving people in the area a chance to support their mission in a fun and fashionable way.
