Prospect Hospice supporter Kevin Price raised £550 for Prospect Hospice in memory of his dad Terence Price.
He passionately supports the hospice and has done over many years. His recent event was a band night held at the Woodlands Edge featuring local musicians MOJO.
Kevin said there was a great turn out on the night and people really got behind the event and supported the hospice. He wanted to thank landlord Mark, and all the staff at the Woodlands Edge for offering to hold the event at the pub and their help with promotion, to MOJO for their fantastic support putting on a great gig and for their help with promotion, Swindon Town FC for their signed replica shirt which was raffled on the night, and The Jewel in the Crown for their kind raffle donation.
Kevin also wanted to thank all who came along including staff at Bridgemead Sainsbury’s, where he works, and those who kindly donated on the night.
Community fundraiser Hollie Ricketts added: “I would like to echo Kevin’s thanks to all of the people mentioned because, without their support, the night would not have been possible. I would also like to thank Kevin on behalf of us all at Prospect Hospice for his dedicated and ongoing support of the hospice over the years.”
