Prospect Hospice is the leading provider of education and training for end-of-life care in Swindon and north Wiltshire. Working closely with you, our colleagues within partner organisations, we want to ensure that the very best care is available to everyone facing the end of life. This is why we provide education and development opportunities, all of which aim to encourage learning and build confidence in end of life care and support.
During the Covid-19 outbreak our doors are open wider than normal as we support people across Swindon and north east Wiltshire in their own homes, delivering an increasing volume of end of life support services to our patients, their families and loved ones in the community.
Prospect Hospice has ensured Covid-19 risk assessments have been carried out in all areas of our charity. Where required, adjustments have been made to ensure working environments are as Covid-19 secure as is practically possible.
The safety of our patients, their families, our staff, volunteers, customers and supporters is paramount. We work closely with all relevant authorities and advisory bodies to ensure we are following current guidelines, implementing any changes as necessary.
We are asking people not to come to the main hospice building at this time, and to phone us if you need our support.

We have also taken the decision to close our remembrance garden to the public at this time but, on a more positive note, our shops are beginning to open.
Thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation. We greatly value and need the support of local people at this time and, whilst we welcome donations, due to the current situation, we are not accepting monetary donations in the hospice’s main building or any donations at our shops. If you would like to send a vital donation and support the hospice, you can donate online here.
