Prospect Hospice is the leading provider of education and training for end-of-life care in Swindon and north Wiltshire. Working closely with you, our colleagues within partner organisations, we want to ensure that the very best care is available to everyone facing the end of life. This is why we provide education and development opportunities, all of which aim to encourage learning and build confidence in end of life care and support.
Prospect Hospice’s much-loved store is relocating from Commercial Road to a fresh new spot at 138 Victoria Hill, Swindon. Offering a great selection of books, vinyl records, CDs, and more, the new location promises to be the go-to destination for book and music lovers, while continuing to support the vital work of the charity.
To mark the exciting relocation, Prospect Hospice is hosting a Grand Opening celebration on Saturday 30 November, from 10AM to 8PM. The day will be filled with fun activities for all ages, including children’s book readings in the morning, and live music from local DJs in the evening. Refreshments will be available throughout the day, and visitors can enjoy a chance to explore the shop’s new layout, and find great books, DVDs, and other media treasures.
“We’re excited to welcome everyone to the new location,” said Victoria Canavan, head of retail at Prospect Hospice. “This move represents not just a change of address, but a fresh start and look for our beloved bookshop. We’re looking forward to providing an even better experience for our customers and supporters, whose purchases directly contribute to the compassionate care we provide at the hospice and in the community.”
