For more than 40 years, we’ve been a dedicated, non-hospital, end-of-life care service for patients and their loved ones - around the clock, every day of the year. Our mission is to ensure that anyone can access the best possible expert care whenever and wherever they need it – whether at the hospice or in their own home. As a charity, we only exist because of the generosity and support of our amazing local community.

We couldn’t do what we do without considerable support from our local community. Prospect Hospice is the leading provider of education and training for end-of-life care in Swindon and north Wiltshire. Working closely with you, our colleagues within partner organisations, we want to ensure that the very best care is available to everyone facing the end of life. We care for patients at home and at our hospice. We also provide lots of courses for our patients to help them achieve a better quality of life during their illness, and er offer specialist support to their families and carers too.
As a charity, we’re able to offer all our care and support to our patients and their families free of charge, thanks to the donations we receive from those in our community. We don’t charge for our care, your stay or treatment is paid for thanks to individuals, groups and businesses who donate and fundraise for us. At Prospect Hospice we accept referrals for people aged 18+ who have advanced and progressive life-limiting illnesses and who live in Swindon, Marlborough, north east Wiltshire and the villages of Lechlade and Fairford in Gloucestershire.
We also offer support to carers and those most important to the person being referred, including family, friends and carers.
