We pride ourselves on being a great place to work and we're always looking for outstanding people to join our team at the hospice across all areas of the charity.
Prospect Hospice is the leading provider of education and training for end-of-life care in Swindon and north Wiltshire. Working closely with you, our colleagues within partner organisations, we want to ensure that the very best care is available to everyone facing the end of life. This is why we provide education and development opportunities, all of which aim to encourage learning and build confidence in end of life care and support.
On behalf of everyone at the charity, I would like to say a huge thank you for your support this year.
It’s been a difficult year for everyone and the hospice itself has faced many challenges. Our shops closed, our events were cancelled and, back in March, when the first lockdown was announced, our income practically dried up overnight.
We were not alone in having to rethink the way we do things. Many of you had to become teachers to your children, you had to learn to work from home and you were separated from your loved ones. Despite all this upheaval, you continued to support the hospice by setting your own challenges, buying raffle tickets, volunteering your time and donating your pre-loved goods to our shops so we could raise the vital funds we needed to continue delivering our care to those most vulnerable.
Everyone at the hospice has been truly overwhelmed by your support this year so, on behalf of every one of our patients, their family and our staff, I want to thank you for the vital part you’ve played in ensuring Prospect Hospice not only survives 2020, but thrives.
Thank you, and merry Christmas to you all.
