For more than 40 years, we’ve been a dedicated, non-hospital, end-of-life care service for patients and their loved ones - around the clock, every day of the year. Our mission is to ensure that anyone can access the best possible expert care whenever and wherever they need it – whether at the hospice or in their own home. As a charity, we only exist because of the generosity and support of our amazing local community.

Prospect Hospice is the leading provider of education and training for end-of-life care in Swindon and north Wiltshire. Our Single Point of Contact (SPoC) service is the new route for referring patients to our services. Open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, you can make a referral in one of the following ways:

Around the clock support, for patients, families and healthcare professionals.
For many people living with a life-limiting illness, being able to stay at home is something that matters above almost everything else. We at Prospect Hospice want to be able to support a patient’s choice in their care, which is why we have introduced our 24 hour advice line – so that there’s always someone there to answer your questions when you seek our help.
Our advice line is available and accessible all day, every day, with calls handled by our experienced palliative care nurses, with access to an on-call doctor at all times, ready to listen to your concerns and help address any problems you’re experiencing. Our advice line is for healthcare professionals too, and staff from care homes, to support their confidence in the care of patients with end-of-life care needs.
