For more than 40 years, we’ve been a dedicated, non-hospital, end-of-life care service for patients and their loved ones - around the clock, every day of the year. Our mission is to ensure that anyone can access the best possible expert care whenever and wherever they need it – whether at the hospice or in their own home. As a charity, we only exist because of the generosity and support of our amazing local community.

Prospect Hospice is the leading provider of education and training for end-of-life care in Swindon and north Wiltshire. Working closely with you, our colleagues within partner organisations, we want to ensure that the very best care is available to everyone facing the end of life. This is why we provide education and development opportunities, all of which aim to encourage learning and build confidence in end of life care and support.

For 45 years, Prospect Hospice has been at the heart of our community, offering compassionate care to patients and families when they need it most. This year, we’re inviting you to take on Challenge 45 – a fundraising initiative where the only limit is your imagination!
Take on a 45-mile walk, host a 45-minute quiz night, or bake and sell 45 cupcakes. However you choose to get involved, your efforts will help us continue providing essential care and support.
Because every moment counts. Just ask Melvin Camden—a man facing terminal lung cancer who abseiled down a cliff to raise funds for Prospect Hospice. With only one lung, Melvin took on the challenge to give back to the charity that will support him and his family when they need it most. His courage has already raised £650, inspiring his children to continue fundraising with a marathon and a virtual walk.
