A charity café is pleased to announce a special Mother’s Day lunch to honour the mothers in our lives. The event will take place on Sunday 19 March, at the Heart of the Hospice Café, Prospect Hospice, Wroughton.
The Mother’s Day lunch will provide an opportunity for local families to come together and celebrate the important role that mothers play. Prospect Hospice’s Heart of the Hospice Café would like to make this day as special as possible for those who may be dealing with difficult circumstances.
“We recognize the challenges that our community faces, particularly on special occasions like Mother’s Day,” said Carl Golding, catering manager. “Our team is committed to providing compassionate care and support, and we hope that this lunch will bring a little bit of joy and comfort.”
The lunch costs £19 per person and will feature a delicious two-course menu prepared by the hospice’s catering team, including a variety of delicious main dishes and desserts.
“We know that many people within our community have a special connection to the hospice” said Carl. “and we thought that this is a wonderful way you can celebrate with your mum or celebrate her life even though she may not be with you on this day.”
All profits from the sale of food go directly back to the hospice to help fund care for those living with a life limiting illness in Swindon and north east Wiltshire.
