Prospect Hospice is the leading provider of education and training for end-of-life care in Swindon and north Wiltshire. Working closely with you, our colleagues within partner organisations, we want to ensure that the very best care is available to everyone facing the end of life. This is why we provide education and development opportunities, all of which aim to encourage learning and build confidence in end of life care and support.
Tired of hiding that jumper your Aunt Mary gave you last Christmas in the back of your wardrobe? Well, Prospect Hospice has a bright idea for you – turn that unwanted gift into a force for good.
With the holiday season upon us, many of us find ourselves stuck with gifts that don’t quite hit the mark. According to a recent survey, a whopping third of us are guilty of shoving these unwanted treasures into the depths of our cupboards, only to unearth them when the original gift-giver comes knocking.
Prospect Hospice wants to rescue you from the clutter and turn your unwanted gifts into a lifeline for those in need.
Victoria Canavan, head of retail at Prospect Hospice said: “Say goodbye to clutter and hello to making a difference. Don’t let that candle or toiletry set gather dust – donate it to us and watch the magic happen.
“Your generosity keeps our charity shops brimming with fabulous finds. Instead of hoarding those duplicate gifts or letting that questionable jumper take up precious real estate in your home, consider giving them a new lease on life at one of our 17 charity shops.”
By choosing to declutter with the charity, you’re not just helping a worthy cause; you’re also doing your part for the environment. Put on your recycling superhero cape, and turn your unwanted gifts into treasures that stay far away from landfills. It’s a triple-win scenario for you, the hospice, and the environment.
Ready to join the decluttering revolution? Donations can be made at any of Prospect Hospice’s shops and you can find your nearest one by clicking here.
