A local hospice is currently hosting an exhibition of Hospice UK’s photography series in collaboration with world renowned photographer Rankin, titled “I Remember”.
This photo series invites you to explore death and grief through its real-life portraits and stories. Due to popular demand, the exhibition will now be at Prospect Hospice, in the popular Heart of the Hospice café, until 5 June. Food is also available to purchase from the café from 11.30am to 2pm, Monday to Saturday, with all proceeds going directly back in to fund the hospice’s vital services.
Featuring eight unique portraits of people who have died alongside the loved ones who remember them, the series will explore the different ways people experience grief and loss.
“We are delighted to be hosting this wonderful exhibition at the hospice,” said Jeremy Lune, CEO of Prospect Hospice. “It is an amazing opportunity to be able to showcase the work of a world-renowned artist while also encouraging our local community to open up the conversation around death, dying, and grief. We have had lots of positive feedback on the exhibition, and we would love for everyone in our community to come and visit the Heart of the Hospice café and see it.”
Everyone is welcome to come and view the photos, at Prospect Hospice, Moormead Rd, Wroughton, Swindon, SN4 9BY.
