This is why we provide education and development opportunities, all of which aim to encourage learning and build confidence in end of life care and support.
‘Tis the season to be jolly, and Prospect Hospice is thrilled to announce its festive Christmas card competition, tailored exclusively for the budding Picassos and Van Goghs aged 11 and under.
Let your imagination sparkle and sleigh your artistic skills with this merry opportunity to draw, paint, and create the most enchanting Christmas scenes. From twinkling Christmas trees and Santa’s sleigh to prancing reindeer and scrumptious mince pies – the possibilities are as endless as Santa’s naughty-and-nice list.
The Christmas card competition isn’t just about spreading festive cheer; it’s also a chance to win some dazzling prizes. The winning design will be selected by a panel of Santa’s little helpers, with winners receiving fantastic goodies that are sure to make their spirits bright.
And that’s not all – the winner will have their artwork featured as the official Prospect Hospice Christmas card, spreading joy and goodwill to all the charity’s supporters.
“Christmas is a time for spreading joy and connecting with our community. The design a Christmas card competition is not just about creating beautiful artwork but also about coming together to support a cause that touches the hearts of many.” said Victoria Canavan, head of retail at Prospect Hospice.
All proceeds from the sale of the charity’s Christmas cards will go directly to supporting Prospect Hospice’s free care and support to local people and their families living with a terminal illness.
Entries must be completed on an entry form which you can pick up from any the hospice’s charity shops or from the hospice reception in Wroughton. You can find your nearest shop by clicking here.
