Their hard work and passion for creating a supportive environment have been recognized by the BBC, a testament to their remarkable commitment.

“We are incredibly proud of Yvonne and the entire volunteer gardening team,” said Jeremy Lune, CEO at Prospect Hospice. “Their dedication and creativity have helped transform our gardens into a truly special space for everyone who visits our hospice. Being shortlisted for this award is a well-deserved recognition of their efforts.”

The BBC received hundreds of nominations across eight categories, with a panel of independent judges selecting the four finalists for each. Yvonne and the team had the opportunity to share their story on BBC Radio Wiltshire’s Breakfast Show on Wednesday 17 July 2024.  Listen here.
