Prospect Hospice is the leading provider of education and training for end-of-life care in Swindon and north Wiltshire. Working closely with you, our colleagues within partner organisations, we want to ensure that the very best care is available to everyone facing the end of life. This is why we provide education and development opportunities, all of which aim to encourage learning and build confidence in end of life care and support.
If you have health insurance, you may be able to claim for your care.
Prices have been rising fast over the last few years. The cost of medical care is climbing. The price of energy to power our equipment has rocketed. It means that while our inpatient unit has room to look after 12 people, we can only afford to look after six. And the hardest part is that more people than ever need our care.
Our care is free of charge for our patients and their families, thanks to the generous donations from our community, but, did you know that if you have private Health Insurance, you may be able to claim – meaning we can care for more people who need us?
We’re an independent charity, and only receive 25% statutory funding. Rising costs and stagnant government funding have left Prospect Hospice £1 million short of what is needed this year.
You might have private Health Insurance through work or may have taken it out yourself, however you’ve got insurance, your claim could help us care for more people who need us.
What do I need to do?
If you have private health insurance then please let one of our team know, we give you the form you need to submit to your health insurance company.
