Prospect Hospice supporters Swindon Brass have raised a further £750 with their annual Christmas carol performances to say thank you.
Swindon Brass have been supporting the hospice for a number of years and have now raised a total of £3,680.86.
They brought festive cheer to passers-by with a number of performances around Swindon including at local supermarkets. They also performed at an annual festive concert in the bandstand at the Town Gardens on the Sunday before Christmas.
Cheryl Cowley, Band Secretary said: “We have had a couple of members in the past receive care at the hospice and have appreciated the way in which they were looked after. Swindon Brass undertakes a series of fund raising Carol playing sessions throughout December each year in order to make a donation as a way of saying thank you and to contribute towards the cost of the running of the hospice and all it stands for.”
Hollie Ricketts, Community Fundraiser added: “We really do appreciate the fantastic support from Swindon Brass over the years. The money raised will help us to provide dedicated end-of-life care across Swindon, Marlborough and north east Wiltshire.”
