Prospect Hospice is the leading provider of education and training for end-of-life care in Swindon and north Wiltshire. Prospect Hospice is seeking a chief executive to deliver our new strategy and vision.
Prospect Hospice provides specialist palliative and end of life care to the people of Swindon and north east Wiltshire. We are a well-respected organisation and, having gone through considerable change over the last four years, achieved an ‘outstanding‘ CQC rating a year ago. Our current chief executive is moving on and we are now looking for a values-driven leader who can maintain a transparent and open culture to deliver our new strategy and next stage of development in a rapidly changing and challenging financial environment.
It costs £7.5 million per year to run the hospice and has significant fundraising and retail activities generating the bulk of our charitable income. We deliver our services with over 200 highly experienced staff and around 600 committed volunteers.
Working in partnership with the board of trustees, you will provide strategic, innovative leadership to ensure services are delivered to the highest standards of governance across the organisation. You will be able to demonstrate that you can empower people through change and have a track record of developing collaborative partnerships.
With highly developed communication skills, you will have the ability to communicate with enthusiasm, warmth and influence to engage at all levels.
